MAGI-GRIP
came into being in 1978 with application for Trade Mark
Registration. In the early years MAGI-GRIP was sold by Mail Order. As a result of frequent inquires from the Carpet Trade in 1991, we switched to selling MAGI-GRIP only through carpet and rug retailers. MAGI-GRIP's proprietor, Tim Jenkins, has been in the carpet and floor covering trade, as both retailer and consultant, for over 40 years. In
the 70s he began his research into the problems of rug creep on
carpets The recent return to popularity of wood flooring and smooth flooring has meant a decrease in the installation of fitted carpets where rugs, large and small, are now laid directly on to the polished floor. This in turn has meant a reduced demand for MAGI-GRIP, with fewer retailers interested in stocking it. Then the company who made Magi-Grip to our spec went bust the company who made our MAGINET product went up in flames and no one could be found who could make a product that trully duplicated the original at acceptable quantities and the right price. When the Royal Mail began charghing by voluume rather than weight it tripled the cost of postage. It was decided to shut down Magi-Grip. "There is another reason for my decision to return to Mail Order. I wanted to tell as many people as possible about the other range of products to which I have chosen to commit myself. Like many in the floorcovering business I suffered with a bad back. About 3 years ago I was introduced to a product that changed my life and severe back pain became a thing of the past. You will rarely see these products advertised in the media, but you will find ECOFLOW and its success discussed in the pages of the financial press. It is the teams of small independent distributors who are the reason for the companies growth. And who are these distributors? They are ordinary people, not salesmen. They are aged from 18 to over 80. They include single mums and dads, people seeking a second income, pensioners, dedicated networkers and business men who have recognized the special opportunity, offered by the remarkable business plan, to develop a residual income. |
